Anyone can sell a beautiful box. Far fewer can tell you where the cacao came from, whose hands tempered it, and what was turned away along the route.
This page is that account. Not because the story is charming — but because a gift that carries your name onto someone else's table should be something you can verify, not just something you can trust.
Most gifting houses buy finished couverture and rebrand the box around it. We roast, conche and temper our own — which is why we can tell you what's in it.
Not "the finest ingredients, sourced globally." A district, a coast, a season. If we can't name where something came from, it doesn't go in the box.
We automate what benefits from precision and keep by hand everything that benefits from judgement. The difference is visible in the last ten percent.
Indian cacao has spent a generation being sold as a commodity — graded, sacked, and shipped anonymously. We buy it as an ingredient with a name attached, from the growing districts where the fermentation is done with care rather than speed.
Everything that surrounds the chocolate is chosen with the same stubbornness — each thing from the place that does it best, not the place that does it cheapest.
Every shortcut below is legal, common, and cheaper. Each one would be invisible in a photograph and obvious on the tongue. These are the four we've decided not to take.
Cocoa butter is expensive and behaves badly in Indian summers. Vegetable fat is neither. We use cocoa butter and solve the summer with cold-chain instead.
Pre-moulded shells filled and badged are the industry's quiet standard for volume orders. Ours are moulded here, in the batch they ship in.
Large festive orders are routinely packed by a third party under time pressure. Every Lèvore box is closed by the same team that made what's inside it.
We don't build festive inventory in August to clear in November. Orders are produced against the date they're needed, which is why we ask for lead time.
From green bean to closed ribbon, a Lèvore box passes through eight hands-on stages. None of them is difficult. All of them are easy to do badly, quickly.
A gift is judged before it is opened. So the box is not packaging to us — it is the first sentence. Rigid board that holds its corner, paper folded rather than glued flat, a foil mark pressed one box at a time, cotton ribbon rather than synthetic.
Rigid construction and insulated despatch, because a gift that arrives bloomed is worse than no gift at all.
Your mark is foiled or debossed into the box itself — never a sticker applied over ours.
Story is easy to write and hard to prove. So here is the part that isn't prose — the commitments we make in the order confirmation, before a single box is made.
Every bulk enquiry gets a sample box of the exact collection, in the exact finish, before the order is confirmed.
Production is scheduled backwards from your delivery date, and we'll tell you honestly if the date can't be met.
A named contact owns your order from first enquiry to final despatch — not a queue and not a form.
Ingredients, origins and allergens for any collection, in writing, on request. We have never been asked a question we couldn't answer.
Every collection is made in our Hyderabad atelier and shipped Pan-India — for corporates, weddings, festivals, and the moments in between. If any of the above matters to you, it is worth a conversation.
