Are chocolates an acceptable substitute for mithai at an Indian wedding?

Increasingly, and the safest approach is not a substitution but a split — traditional mithai served on the day, chocolate and baklawa boxes for anything that travels or sits: invitation boxes, welcome hampers, return gifts. Elders who expect mithai get it; everything logistically exposed gets the format that survives.

How long do chocolate and baklawa wedding boxes keep?

Substantially longer than milk-based mithai, which is much of the appeal. The practical planning number is weeks rather than days, which is what makes advance production and cross-country dispatch possible at all. We confirm the window per format at order, since fillings differ.

What is the minimum order for custom-branded wedding boxes?

One hundred units for branded lids on existing rigid formats, with better rates at 250 and 500. Fully bespoke construction — new dimensions and inserts — starts at 250 units. Below 100, an unbranded premium box with a well-printed card is both cheaper and more elegant.

Can we do chocolates for some guests and baklawa for others?

Yes, though in practice the mixed box outperforms segmenting the list. Splitting by guest means tracking two SKUs across a dispatch of several hundred; a half-and-half box gives every guest both and removes an entire layer of coordination.
