The lid

A Mughal garden arch, on a luxury Diwali chocolate hamper.

A garden arch spans the lid — the pietra-dura arch of a Mughal pavilion, flattened into two dimensions and filled with birds, vines and a pair of peacocks at the base. It is the most architectural of the resin lids, and at two and a half inches deep the shallowest.

In detail

What is inside, jar by jar

Beneath: three jars and three open trays. The arrangement is a deliberate mix — something to spoon, something to lift, something to unwrap — so the box does not resolve in a single gesture.

Chocolate Almond Brittle
Caramelised sugar taken to a dark amber, set hard around roasted almonds, then part-dipped in chocolate.
Cranberry / Strawberry / Prune
Dried cranberry, strawberry and prune, half-dipped in chocolate. The acidity is deliberate — it resets the palate between the sweeter jars.
Orange dipped in Chocolate
Candied orange slices, half-dipped in chocolate and finished with sea salt.
Chocolate Almond Dragees
Whole almonds, roasted and enrobed in chocolate, tumbled until the shell sets to a polish.
Chocolate Almond Rocks
Almond pieces set in chocolate in irregular clusters. Broken by hand, so no two are the same weight.
Caramel Cashews
Cashews in dark caramel, cooked past golden to amber.

Where the cacao comes from

Indian cacao has spent a generation being sold as a commodity — graded, sacked and shipped without a name on it. We buy from four origins and say which, because a gift carrying your name onto someone’s table should be able to account for itself.

What we refuse to use

Every shortcut below is legal, common and cheaper. Each one is invisible in a photograph and obvious on the tongue.

No compound, ever

Real cocoa butter, never vegetable fat. We solve the Indian summer with cold chain instead.

No bought-in shells

Ours are moulded here, in the same batch they ship in.

No outsourced finishing

This box was closed by the same team that made what is inside it.

No stock that sat

Made against the date it was needed, not built in August to clear in November.

Eight stages, by hand

From green bean to closed ribbon. None of it is difficult. All of it is easy to do badly, quickly.

01RoastingGreen beans, brought slowly to life.
02TemperingCoaxed into its finest crystal.
03CoatingA single, unbroken shell.
04Hand finishingWhere a hand replaces a machine.
05WrappingPaper folded the way paper should be.
06Foil stampingA mark, pressed one box at a time.
07Ribbon tyingCotton, tied with intention.
08InspectionNothing leaves until it is right.

Storage, shelf life and allergens

Storage

Cool, dry, out of direct sunlight — ideally 18–22°C. Not the refrigerator; condensation dulls the shell.

Best before

At least three months from dispatch, printed on the base of the box. Best within the first month, when the roast is still forward.

Allergens

Entirely vegetarian. Contains nuts, milk and soy; made in a facility that handles all three.

The box

Rigid board, hand-foiled, built to outlive its contents. It is meant to be kept — for letters, for spices, for whatever deserves a good box.

Corporate branding options

Minimum order quantity of 100 boxes on all branded work. Artwork is proofed and signed off before production begins.

Foil logo

Your mark pressed in gold or blind directly onto the lid. Proofed and signed off before any box is made.

Printed sleeve

A full-colour band around the box — the fastest route to a branded gift without altering the box itself.

Insert card

A printed greeting or note card set inside the lid, in your copy and your typeface.

Custom colour

The box built in your palette rather than ours. Longest lead time of the four, and the most convincing.

Ordering, delivery and lead times

What is the minimum order for the Peacock Arch box?

There is no minimum on boxes supplied in Lèvore presentation from the standing Diwali range. Custom-branded gifting starts at 100 boxes. Contents can be tailored on request.

Can the Peacock Arch box carry our company branding?

Yes. A gold foil or blind-pressed logo on the lid, a full-colour printed sleeve, a custom insert card, or the box rebuilt in your own palette. Artwork is proofed and signed off before any box is made. Branded work carries a minimum order quantity of 100 boxes.

When do orders close for Diwali 2026 delivery?

Three windows. Fully bespoke builds close 26 September. Branded lids on our stock formats close 10 October. Unbranded boxes from the standing range run until stock ends. Book three to four weeks ahead of the date you need them.

Do you deliver Diwali chocolate gift boxes across India?

Yes — pan-India dispatch on every box, with timelines confirmed at the time of order. Hyderabad delivery is same-city and fastest. Every box travels sealed in high-density thermocol through temperature-controlled logistics, so it arrives as fresh as it left the atelier — on the date you choose.

Is the chocolate vegetarian?

Entirely vegetarian, with no gelatine and no alcohol. It contains nuts, milk and soy, and is made in a facility that handles all three.

How should the box be stored?

Cool, dry and out of direct sunlight — ideally 18 to 22°C. Not the refrigerator, where condensation dulls the shell. Best within the first month, while the roast is still forward.
